The boys

Just some random videos of the boys. The first one is of Colton playing Guitar Hero: World Tour. He became obsessed with the drums right away. The other one is of Logan waving his hands around and just being cute.

Cars

Colton's latest obsession is the movie Cars. I swear he has seen it hundreds of times. Ok, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but he has seen it alot. It is a daily movie that we watch in our household. He knows every line, what is going to happen next, and the words to the songs. It's funny to watch him, because he really gets into it.

Halloween 2008

Ah, Halloween. What can I say. To say the least, it has been an interesting day. Unfortunately, it began way too early. Like, 5:00 Am or sooner. Logan was having a restless night for some reason and kept moving around and making lots of noise in his crib, which kept waking me up. Aaron's tooth was bothering him, and had been for a while now. He kept tossing and turning, which kept waking me up. Colton kept on coughing, which I could here from his room, and kept waking me up. Finally, about 5:00, after being awake since 4:00 AM and laying in bed, I got up and thought I should catch up on e-mails and wish my friends and family a Happy Halloween.
Around 6:00 AM I went back up to my room hopefully to catch some Z's for about an hour. Didn't get much of that. Before I went back into my room, I checked on Colton and found that he was running a fever. Oh great. He just got over being sick.

The day continues with Aaron going to the dentist and getting his tooth pulled and then having to go back to work. Colton was all right most of the day, as long as I kept medicine in him.

Then comes getting ready for trick-or-treating. Oh, boy. At the last minute I decided to dress up as a enthusiastic Duke Blue Devil's fan. You'll see from the pictures. Logan was dressed up as Tigger. But, he started to get fussy and just wanted me to sit by him. When I tried to put Colton's Elmo costume on him, he freaked out. He wanted anything but to have that on him. As any wonderful mom would do, I kept it on him and still tried to take pictures.
Trick-or-treating sure was a "treat". I say that sarcastically. I don't know if it was him not feeling well, but he didn't want anyone to put candy into his bucket. I usually just took the candy from the people and put it in my bag. Needless to say, we weren't out for very long.

Now we are at home, after picking up Aaron from work (he wasn't able to drive himself because of the pain meds), and just relaxing and finally catching up on my blog.

A very unhappy Elmo

Trying to get a mommy, Elmo shot--not working too well.

He's a little happier now. This is right before we went out trick-or-treating.

Just Being Random

Not much has happened this month. "Nothing to shout about," people say. The boys just continue to get bigger.

Aaron is getting excited about his trip to Texas. Jiffy Lube, in conjunction with TX7, an engine additive company, holds a contest each year. Whichever store is the top sellers of the TX7 product wins a trip to the Texas Motor Speedway and gets to drive a NASCAR race car. Needless to say, Aaron is very giddy over this trip. He went last year and had a blast. The only bad part (for me, at least), I have to stay home and fly solo with the two kids for the weekend.

Earlier in the month I went to Twilight party. It was to celebrate the release of the 4th book in the series called Breaking Dawn. We all dressed up in prom dresses (because the main characters went to the prom in Twilight), ate food, and just had a blast. Later, we went to the book store (yes, in our prom dresses), and attended their pre-release party for the book. Now, if you have not heard of the Twilight series, I am very surprised. But for those who have not heard of this book series, they consist of 4 different books featuring the characters, Edward and Bella. Edward is a vampire and Bella is a mortal, who are madly in love with each other. I don't think I have ever done something like dress up and go to a midnight release for anything before. But, I had so much fun, and it was very nice to have a night out. I don't have any pictures yet of me in my prom dress. I have to keep bugging my sister-in-law for them, who took them with her camera.

Colton still continues to act like a two year old. He still just copies what people say. Sometimes you can understand it and other times, you really have no idea what he is saying. His favorite new phrase is "I stuck." I have no idea where he picked it up from, but he says it all the time.

Logan is 4 1/2 months and babbles and giggles continually. He's figured out that he can roll from his stomach to his back. Doesn't like being on his stomach much--he can't look around him as much. He's a very curious little boy. Always has to see what's going on. It looks like he is distressed in this picture, but he's actually pretending to have a camera infront of his face and he's saying "cheese".

Loves to read.

It's hard to see this picutre, but Colt is sitting right in between his cousins while they play video games. He likes to feel like he's one of the "big boys".

Another "cheese" shot.

Waaaasuuuuup!?!

Chillin' with Scotty

ZZZZZZ.......
